Marshfield landed two on the First Team and four on the Second Team in post regular season voting by the 5A Midwestern League football coaches. Seniors Will Messerle and Levi Groff were named to the First Team at linebacker and offensive guard, respectively. The Pirates also got juniors Levi Meline, defensive back, and McKenzie Freeman, center, on the Second Team along with seniors Alex Elletson, wide receiver, and Brogan Oswald, quarterback. Senior Cameron Winfrey was Honorable Mention as a running back. Coach Kent Wigle also said Oswald was named Special Teams Player of the Year, sophomore Kyle Tedder was First Team punter. |
